Dr. Hakan Uysal graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry, Ankara in 1988.  After completing experimental studies on dental implants and implant biomechanics at Japan’s Kyushu University, he earned his specialty degree in Prosthodontics at Hacettepe University, Institute of Health Sciences, in 1995. Dr. Uysal received his associate professorship in 1998 and was assigned as a clinical professor in 2005. Dr. Uysal established the Department of Prosthodontics at Cukurova University. He is also the founder of the Division of Dental Research in the same institute, which includes biomechanical, material tests and hard tissue examination labs. He is the author of numerous research articles on dental ceramics, dental implants and implant biomechanics.
